In it’s 1st full Election Cycle, firm goes undefeated on Primary Night

NEW YORK, NY- Millennial Strategies, a political consulting firm with offices in Manhattan and Long Island, burst onto the political scene Tuesday, winning four of four contested Primary Elections in the firm’s first full election cycle.

In Brooklyn’s 20th Senate District, Millennial would like to congratulate Jesse Hamilton on his hard fought victory. Hamilton defeated a challenger with a broad base of support, and Millennial was proud to manage his fundraising operation. Senior Account Executive Robin Brown was among the architects of his winning strategy, while Accounts Associate Cameron Williams handled the duties of Finance Director.

In the heavily contested AD 76 race on the East side of Manhattan, we would like to congratulate winner Rebecca Seawright. Millennial was proud to run Seawright’s paid field operation and help propel her to the Assembly, where she will quickly become a leader for her constituents and all New Yorkers.

“With these resounding victories in New York City, it has become clear that Millennial can deliver critical elements of a campaign that serve as the difference between victory and defeat. We are proud to elect individuals to our State Legislature who will be champions of progressive legislation and who will represent New Yorkers with intelligence, honestly and integrity.” said Millennial Strategies Partner, Alex Voetsch.

The 11th Senate District in Queens featured one of the closest contests on Primary Night, and once again Millennial found itself on the winning side. Millennial’s data driven field IE program on behalf of the League of Conservation Voters, provided the difference for Senator Tony Avella in his tight re-election bid against well funded opponent John Liu. Millennial Account Associate Mercedes Trejo and Searchlight Direct Contact guided a program that made over 30,000 voter contacts in the last 3 days.

Millennial’s reach into regional politics also extended over the Hudson River in 2014. In the primary to succeed outgoing Congressman Rush Holt in New Jersey’s 12th Congressional District, Millennial lead a successful fundraising operation for victor Bonnie Watson Coleman, headed up by Senior Account Executive Koren Frankfort.

On Long Island, Millennial served as the General Consultant to newly minted Democratic Nominee for Long Beach City Court Judge Corey Klein. Accounts Associate Derek Poppe served as campaign manager for this effort.
“These strong showings both in the City and in throughout the region illustrate the fact that Millennial intends to expand our reach and deliver victory for Democratic candidates throughout the Northeast,” said Millennial Strategies Partner Jeff Guillot.

On the Seawright, Avella, and Klein campaigns, Millennial’s cutting edge field efforts were powered by Searchlight Direct Contact, a field technology firm led by Scott Harris and Michael Ambler.

The upcoming General Election is sure to bring more exciting news for Millennial, as the firm is actively engaged in fundraising and direct contact operations for seven Democratic State Senate candidates, and many others seeking office in November and beyond.
